Canada’s Sexiest Geek

This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Canada’s sexiest geek – Lisa Bettany of mostlylisa.com. She was an in-studio guest on the This Week in Photography (TWiP) podcast, and did an awesome job putting up with our on-mike craziness.
It was interesting to learn about her life, and the things she likes to shoot. She’s a photography do-it-yourselfer, and schooled us on how to save a few bucks by making soft boxes from shower curtains. And as if you couldn’t tell by the photos, Lisa is also a model. Some of the questions centered around how she manages to deal with knowing as much about photography as some of the people shooting her. You’ll have to listen to the podcast to hear her response.
The next day the TWiP crew met up with Lisa outside of San Francisco’s AT&T Park for a photoshoot, I snapped a few pics of her and recorded a quick video. Lisa is equal parts beauty, brains, talent, and just the right amount of geekiness.

Thanks for the post / vid. I really enjoyed the podcast as well, you guys are good at staying on topic with just enough off topic for little nuggets of informational joy to come out that weren’t probably planned. That adds a ton to the infotainment value of the podcast… keep up the good work.
Side note… your post has Lisa’s name as “Bellamy”, I think it’s “Bettany” with “t’s” not “l’s”
