Yes. We. Can.

A few days ago I came across one of the most inspiring political music videos I’ve seen since USA for Africa released, wait for it — “We are the world“. This one features portions of an Obama speech set to music by Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas. When I first encountered this video 4 days ago, fewer than 5,000 people had viewed it. Today, the view count is up to over 1.8 million. Like I said in my last post, this “wild-fire” viral word of mouth exposure is priceless to any candidate. Add to that the fact the Obama campaign didn’t pay a dime for it is simply amazing. The song features several actors and musicians singing the words to Barack Obama’s inspirational New Hampshire concession speech about change. No matter what your political affiliation, or which candidate you’re rooting for, the words of this song and the text of the speech should resonate with you.Note, someone posted an MP3 version of the song here.Edited the speech link, thanks for the correction Peter.

Dude. He’s going all the way man. I feel it in my bones. His train is gaining steam, and it is thundering down the track. The right track. The track to finally not having a moron in charge of this country.
