Apple Loves Sara France!

It’s not that often that a good friend gets recognized for the amazing work they do. But it happens from time to time, and today is one of those times. My friend Sara France was chosen by the notoriously “picky” Apple as a photographer to spotlight on its website! This is huge, believe me. Sara is at once an amazing friend and Photographer (in that order). She’s one of those rare individuals that is two-parts creative and one-part geek. And in the world of photography that combination is unbeatable. Photographers have to be at once Psychologists, Geeks, Artists, and Accountants – and they have to be “great” at all of those things.
“I’ve always wanted to build my own business. I just never thought I’d have tools like Pages and Keynote to help make it so easy. Every day I appreciate the fact that I now have this amazing opportunity — a business of my very own to nurture and develop and evolve, and to make of it exactly what I want.”
Being a geek means staying on top of current tech trends (and loving it). To that end, Sara is a self-acknowledged “Mac-head”, and like any good zealot she’s got all the gear. From iPods to AppleTV, to MacBook Pro’s, to G5 towers. But even amidst all of this luscious technology, she’s an amazing artist. So much so she doesn’t even realize how good she is. She’s completely at home behind either her Canon Mark II or her MacBook Pro. The cool part of it is that her clients never know the complexity behind the woman they’re hiring. The part of Sara they see is a bubbly, personable, yet strong professional woman.
Like she says in the Apple article, her personal life (photography) is inextricably interwoven with her professional life (photography). Read the article to find out how Sara France manages to keep her left-brain playing well with the right.

Thank you Fredrick for your kind words. Truly, I am very proud of Sara’s accomplishments. She has always been quite the beautiful and generous daughter. I am a very lucky Mom to have this gem in my life. She is as thoughtful and loving to her family as she is to her friends. Always excited to see what is coming up next, from her. I love you, Sara

Sara is pretty kick ass - so insane to get a profile like that on Apple.com. That’s a serious accomplishment!
