The reason there will be few to none Clinton anti Obama ads is anyone who would vote for her is to old or too stupid to operate a computer capable of building such an ad. She's finished.

A huge upside to all this citizen-produce propaganda is simply awareness. The fact that our people care enough to create content like this really tells you how much more involved we're becoming in our politics. Is that a result purely of technology (easier to access, etc), or is it mainly because we're so fed up with "politics as usual", or a combination of the two?

Good post, Frederick. Interesting how "citizen journalist" with a website has evolved into "citizen campaign booster" with YouTube, and that is likely only part of the bigger picture. Nearing total media deconstruction. A lack of definable bounds between art and news and advertising -- push vs. pull. It's amusing to consider the hubbub over 80s product placement efforts in films (see E.T.) in this light.

Poor, poor David Elton, it must be so hard being you. I can't imagine what day-to-day life must be like without the ability to think abstractly. You completely glossed over (and missed?) Frederick's explicit point, although clearly caught the implicit pro-Obama angle. If you're paying for the ad, posting the message, displaying the video, isn't it "fair" that you should be able to slant it wherever and however much you want?

Following your logic, and considering recent talk about who is most like Reagan and who isn't, shouldn't the Widow Nancy be invited to the next debate to respond on Ronnie's behalf? And if she didn't want to respond, would the debate still be a "fair debate", the dialog still "balanced"?

And since when did we find it acceptable (again) for a couple of very-wealthy white Southerners to gang up against a man of color, eh?

Labour... ouch.

"Fair & Balanced" Fox News does good job of balancing the Internet attack ads on Hillary.

So the political smear campaign has begun! There's no doubt the internet is now the most influential tool out there. I've been living back in the UK since 2004 so I don't get to see the full TV version of the Presidential Campaign anymore. Do you know of a simular unofficial video from Hilary's camp? It would definately give this post a 'balance'. Meanwhile I have to put up with the UK's useless Labour government Labour - A long drawnout painfull process that usually ends in tears!
